Basic engineering

We define the different areas of the installation that make up the project after reviewing the conceptual engineering and the needs. We carry out feasibility studies or basic specifications. Analyzing the nature of the processes, environmental or economic conditions, we elaborate the studies, calculations or initial specifications, of vital importance to have a solid platform for the development of the projects. In this area, the main services provided are the following:

  • Preparation of technical documents or “bases”. Our engineers carry out a study of the requirements of the project defining the basic characteristics of the necessary equipment and systems.

  • Review and update of conceptual engineering.

  • Basic design and operation criteria.

  • Single-line diagrams with the electrical calculations that validate it (current and voltage transformers, load flow, short circuit, study of protections, coordination of insulation, sizing of cables and busbars, etc.)

  • Technical specifications of equipment, systems and auxiliary services.

Development and detail engineering

We are fully convinced that the quality and precision of detail engineering are the best basis for achieving the project’s objectives, avoiding problems in the development and commissioning phases. Quality engineering helps reduce execution times, testing and commissioning, minimizing the risks of unforeseen situations. In this sense we can offer:

Our staff has extensive experience in the design, programming and adjustment of electrical protection systems for various industry sectors, especially in the energy generation and distribution sector in which we have developed more than 100 projects in the last 20 years.

We work with the main manufacturers of protections, such as: ABB, SCHNEIDER, ALSTOM, SEL, SIEMENS, GE, etc.

We have programming and diagnostic tools, as well as advanced tools and simulation equipment that allow us to carry out a complete set of tests in the factory, guaranteeing a high quality of the developed systems.

Design of excitation and voltage regulation systems for generators and motors

Our staff has extensive experience in the design, programming and adjustment of excitation systems for generators and motors, we have developed more than 50 projects in the last 10 years.

We work with the main manufacturers of excitations, such as: ABB, ALSTOM, SIEMENS, GE, ANDRITZ, BASLER, etc.

We have programming and diagnostic tools, as well as advanced tools and simulation equipment that allow us a set of tests “in the factory” guaranteeing a high quality of the systems.

Design and manufacture of electrical panels

We have our own workshops with 4,000 m. for the manufacture of cabinets, having an area of 500 m. for tests and tests with our customers, and also 800 m. of offices where the responsible for the design of the cabinets and assembly engineering are located, and we manufacture:
